Tall Ships Erie 2025 Volunteer Signup Form
This exciting waterfront festival brings historic tall ships from around the world to Erie’s bayfront, celebrating our maritime heritage while raising funds to support hands-on maritime education and waterfront access programs for our community. By filling out this volunteer interest form, you're taking the first step in joining our crew! All volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory orientation and security training session (either online or in person) before they can be scheduled for shifts. Details on training dates and volunteer assignments will be emailed to you as the event approaches. We’ll be in touch with additional information as it becomes available. In the meantime, thank you for supporting maritime education and helping us keep Erie’s waterfront accessible and alive with history!

At Tall Ships® Erie 2025, there’s a role for every type of volunteer—whether you love working with kids, welcoming guests, or tackling hands-on tasks behind the scenes. We encourage you to select all roles you're willing to help with when signing up. This helps us build a flexible crew and easily adapt if schedules shift during the festival.

Here’s a quick look at the many ways you can help:

  • General Help, Logistics, & Setup Teams – Be our behind-the-scenes problem solvers, helping with signage, booth setup, and quick fixes during the event.
  • Ticket Sales & Admission – Greet guests, scan tickets, and help everyone start their festival experience with a smile.
  • Information Booth & Guides – Be the friendly face answering questions and pointing visitors in the right direction.
  • Deck Tour Line Attendants – Keep ship tour lines moving safely and efficiently.
  • Hydration Station Attendants – Serve drinks and help keep festivalgoers cool. (Free RAMP training required for alcohol service.)
  • Kids Zone Crew – Support hands-on activities and crafts for young sailors! (Clearances required.)
  • VIP Hospitality – Assist in VIP lounges with check-ins, refreshment setup, and event support.
  • Traffic Coordination - Help attendees get to the event footprint! Extra important this year!
  • Waste Management Crew – Keep the festival grounds clean and welcoming (with a free Day Sail voucher as a reward!).
  • Admin Support – Help with phone and email inquiries leading up to the event.

No matter your skills or background, there’s a place for you on our volunteer team. Select as many roles as you're comfortable with so we can match you where you're needed most—together, we’ll make this festival a success!
