Tickets are still available for purchase the following ways:

1) At the Erie Maritime Museum Gift Shop until Thursday, September 8 at 5 pm. 

2) Beginning Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 11, tickets will be available for purchase at designated blue ticket booths, opening 15 minutes prior to regular festival hours.

(A number of ticket booths will be located outside of the Erie Maritime Museum and the Bayfront Convention Center)


A ticket is required for admission into the festival which includes the following areas:

The Bayfront Convention Center including the Festival Marketplace, Kidz Zone, Live Entertainment, Lecture Series and to tour any of the ships.

Erie Maritime Museum including the Kidz Zone, Live Entertainment, Educational Presentations and to tour any of the ships.


Ticket Options:

Friday Only Day Pass- $8 each

One (1) Day Pass (Choose: Saturday or Sunday)- $14 each

Two (2) Day Weekend Pass (Saturday & Sunday)- $22 each

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable. Children 2 and under are free.

Festival Admission Hours:

Friday, September 9- 2:30 to 6:00 pm (*limited festival hours)

Saturday, September 10- 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sunday, September 11- 10:00 am to 5:00 pm


FESTIVAL SECURITY MEASURES: Tall Ships Erie has been designated as a Marine Event of National Significance by the United States Department of Homeland Security. This designation requires certain security measures to be in place for the public’s safety. Individuals must possess an approved ticket, wristband, or credential to gain access into the event. All personal belongings, bags, and purses will be checked. Large backpacks are not permitted. Firearms, weapons of any kind, explosives, or incendiary devices are not permitted. Selfie sticks are not permitted. Open or unsealed bottles or containers of any kind of water or other liquids and food are not permitted. Baby food and formula must be stored in plastic containers. Glass is not permitted. Small coolers no larger than 5 quarts will be permitted to utilize for baby food/formula and medicine only.
